Art is both my escapism and my confirmation of my existence and human experience. I cannot envision a reality where I do not create art. I use it to reflect and acknowledge humanity’s destructiveness, but also to remind myself about the inherent goodness that can be chosen by us, amidst all the tragedies and discrimination. My aim as an artist is to showcase my work to diverse audiences, offering a panoramic view of human nature and the consequences of our destructive cycle.

My ideas of the inevitable conflict and unity of humanity and the environment is heavily accompanied by the materials I use within my artwork, such as my choice in using paint and clay on canvas. Although I carefully compose both mediums together to invite my concept of unity, I disrupt a seemingly traditional painting with three-dimensional elements to create a visual conflict, purposefully contrasting mediums together to further unite my theme. Through my works, I strive to explore the narratives of our human nature and the recurring cycles that shape our modern world, expressing them through various forms of colour and textures to mimic the layers of our complexities, to provoke reflection about the patterns that define our existence.
